Using a wide variety of learning techniques, we provide as broad a range of learning experiences to our students as possible. This includes a variety of structured and unstructured cooperative learning experiences as well as a balance of cooperative, competitive, and individualistic learning experiences.
Auditory Discrimination In Depth and Visualizing & Verbalizing
Auditory conceptual judgment enables us to compare the identity and order of sounds in words. It provides a basis for thinking about how to pronounce words, and how to spell and read them. It is an individualized program which enhances a basic reading program for the student who struggles. Visualizing/Verbalizing involves comparing the identity and order of words in phrases and sentences through the images they present. Comparing the images helps us to order and comprehend the information and concepts presented by words. Both of these programs offer an additional method to assist the students in the basic reading program.
