Several of the teachers have taken classes on Effective or Assertive Discipline. Recently one attended a workshop hosted by the Otter Creek Institute which was “Successful Intervention with the Chronically Disruptive Student”.
P.E. In-service
Our P.E. Teacher Mrs. Huffman spent a week at Cal Poly completing an inservice on Elementary P.E. Some of the best instructors in the country were at this week-long workshop. In addition, she has attended several of Cliff Carnes P.E. workshops that are offered locally.
