Dori O'Day
Mrs. O'Day has been at Victory for over 20 years. She was the Pre-Kindergarten teacher for 16 of those years. Two years were spent co-teaching second grade at the Fair Oaks campus. In 2001, she was "promoted" to kindergarten. Mrs. O'Day enjoys learning with her students.She and her husband, Ed, have four children who all graduated from VCS. Several of their grandchildren are now students at the Carmichael campus. Mrs. O'Day has a rich background in early childhood education. She has been trained with the Gesell Developmental Institute, which specializes in developmental readiness for starting school. Mrs. O'Day has been involved with the "Math Their Way" program as well as AIMS Science. Both these programs are very "hands-on" and enrich our program.
