This spring the VCS Boys' and Girls' Varsity Basketball teams both won the Division VI Section Championship in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. The Viking girls bested Wilton Christian 45-37, while the Viking boys handily topped the Sacramento Adventist team 65-46, in a contest that ended with VCS students swarming onto the court as the final buzzer sounded.
